Hoarstone Edge & Alphin Pike from Dovestone Reservoir: Our first walk of 2012 and it was certainly good to get back into the swing of things after the Christmas excess. We arrived at Dovestone Reservoir to find Jane, Lucy and Katie already wrapped up and ready to go, so we hastily jumped out of the car and prepared ourselves.

Langerton Hill from Burnsall: Once again we were blessed with good weather as we pulled up next to the village green in Burnsall and stepped out of the car into the early morning sunshine. The thin cloud cover was dispersing and it looked very much like we were in for the nice day forecast.
