The Station – Ribblehead

After just completing our 40 peaks challenge we nipped in to the Station Inn to celebrate with a well earned beer. We managed to bag a big table under the window which looked out towards the peak we had just conquered.

Whilst buying the drinks I noticed some pork pies for sale on the bar. Having worked up an appetite I plumped for the pork and black pudding pie which was delicious. There were a few people having food but I didn’t notice what it looked like as I was half following the football on wall mounted TV, in between the laughs and jokes we were having.

There nearby pool table was a little short of room which seemed to fit the rest of the layout as the tightly packed tables gave the impression of a warm, friendly country pub. We left after a second beer but will no doubt be back at some point. Maybe after we have completed the Yorkshire Tops for a second time….
