Leanne – AKA Wu Tang and one half of L’Autobus

Wu Tang received her moniker because of her hunched resting technique. Someone commented she resembled a rapper and the name just stuck. I don’t know exactly why she resembled a rapper but who cares. This technique is apparently the best form of preventing back ache due to carrying a backpack, not that her backpack would create many aches due to its diminutive size.

She can often be found sliding down hills on her backside in the name of fun. Wu Tang would be considered our most nervous member as anything out of the ordinary is cause for concern. This includes any type of scrambling, crossing walls, uneven surfaces, passing cows or being caught in mist. She also hates bog!

Since the formation of the Badgers, Wu Tang has completed the Yorkshire tops tick list and the Yorkshire three peaks challenge as well as the Herriot Way. In 2012 Wu Tang was part of the back up team that provided such excellent support for the team of Trailtrekkers, although she has vowed never again! June 2015 saw Leanne take on and complete our 34 mile canal challenge.

Leanne’s Yorkshire Tops Questionnaire
