Sandra – AKA Ramblo and one half of L’Autobus

The name Ramblo is achieved by taking an old nickname Rambo (a play on her maiden name) and giving it a clever rambling twist.

Famed for the ice cold death stare, Ramblo is sure to pick up on any mistake made by the navigational team. She is also one half of L’Autobus, a name that has been copied from the term used each year to describe the group of cyclists that forms behind the main field during the mountain stages of the Tour De France. L’Autobus members are the most outspoken and often question the wisdom of the chosen route and if there is any group unrest then it will no doubt be L’Autobus, but all this means their sense of achievement is greater once we are done for the day.

During 2010 Ramblo completed our Yorkshire tops tick list and during 2011 completed the Yorkshire three peaks twice, as well as the Herriot Way.

In May 2012 Ramblo formed half of the support team as the Badgers took on Trailtrekker. This entailed driving the mini bus to collect and drop off support walkers, setting up check points and generally looking after the four Badgers that took part.
